Each day features several wineries, mouthwatering lunches and great sights and views.

Day 1 – Monday, October 4 - 2021

We meet in the lobby of our 4-star hotel at around 4 pm and you will join Pierre Gouttenoire, winemaker and co-founder of Grape Tours, for a visit of Bordeaux's new Cite de Vin & a lovely welcome dinner as we get ready to explore 3 of the most important Bordeaux regions over the next 3 days.

We'll go discover the right bank and visit three wineries to discover the complexity of Merlot in different terroirs (Fronsac, Pomerol and Saint-Emilion), with a fabulous lunch at one of the wineries.

We'll stop in picturesque St. Emilion for a guided tour.

Day 3 – Wednesday, October 6 - 2021

On this day we'll head to the West side of the river where Cabernet-Sauvignon prevails, to the iconic areas of Margaux, Pauillac -Saint Estèphe and Saint-Julien to explore the diversity of styles according to the terroir.

We will meet a barrel maker to understand the art of the ageing in wood.

We'll enjoy a delicious lunch at the second winery during which we'll enjoy more wines. A third winery in the afternoon will be with a chocolate tasting.

Free time after the tour to try a restaurant of your choice or to relax in the hotel.

Then we head to the amazing area of Sauternes where we will get to try world-class wines, with lunch at the winery. There's a good chance that it'll be harvesting time for the grapes in Sauternes, so it's really a very unique time to visit.
